PSP 2005 Regional Youth Tournament 2026: Full Schedule Released

Sixteen clubs, five age groups, two weekends — our biggest tournament yet.

PSP 2005 is proud to release the full schedule for the 2026 Regional Youth Football Tournament, our flagship annual competition. This year's event will see sixteen clubs from across the county compete in five age group categories over two weekends in May — making it the largest edition in the tournament's history.

Tournament Format

The competition follows a group stage and knockout format. Each age group features four teams in a round-robin group phase, with the top two from each group advancing to semi-finals and a final on the second weekend. All matches will be officiated by FA-registered referees.

Weekend 1 — Group Stage (17–18 May 2026)

  • U9: Groups A & B — Greenfields Sports Centre, 9am–1pm
  • U11: Groups A & B — Greenfields Sports Centre, 1pm–5pm
  • U13: Groups A & B — Riverside Park, 10am–3pm
  • U15: Groups A & B — Riverside Park, 3pm–6pm
  • U18: Groups A & B — PSP 2005 Main Pitch, 10am–5pm

Weekend 2 — Knockouts and Finals (31 May–1 June 2026)

  • U9 & U11 Semi-Finals and Finals — Saturday 31 May
  • U13 & U15 Semi-Finals and Finals — Saturday 31 May
  • U18 Semi-Finals — Saturday 31 May
  • Grand Final Day — Sunday 1 June, all age group finals
  • Trophy ceremony and refreshments from 5:30pm

Participating Clubs

Confirmed entries include PSP 2005, Southside FC, Riverside Stars, Castleton Athletic, Meadowbrook Juniors, Stonebridge Rangers, and ten further clubs to be announced. Entry for spectators is free on all group stage days. Finals day will have a small entry charge of £2 per adult, with under-16s free.
